TPCC Alleges State Govt Encouraging Liquor Consumption
Hyderabad, Feb.18 (Maxim News): TPCC official spokesperson Indira Shoban on Tuesday called on the Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj bhavan. She gave a representation to the governor during the meeting.
In her representation, she told the governor that consumption of liquor was the main reason for the increasing number of all kinds of crimes in the state. She told the governor that almost all lanes of Telangana state had a liquor shop. She said that there were 17952 shops across the state and added that the information had come to fore through an RTI query . She alleged that the state government was encouraging the liquor consumption only to increase its income by causing harm to the health condition of the common people. She urged the governor to set up mahila commission and remove all belt ships from the state. She said that the party would hold a dharna on international women’s day at Indira park.(Maxim News)
