Hyderabad, June 30, 2025 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud came down heavily on Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his recent remarks linking the Congress party with Naxal sympathies, calling them baseless and politically motivated.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Goud slammed Amit Shah’s statement that Congress “encourages Naxalism,” saying,

Is it wrong to advocate for talks under Operation Kagar? Everyone knows how the BJP government has handled terrorism and internal security over the years.”

He further criticized the BJP for its double standards on national security, pointing to past international instances where the BJP allegedly failed to act decisively.

AICC Chief Kharge to Address 25,000 Congress Cadres in Hyderabad
