TPCC chief Revanth meets film producer Bandla Ganesh
Hyderabad, June 25: In order to strengthen the Congress ahead of next Assembly elections in Telangana, TPCC president met Tollywood producer and actor Bandla Ganesh at his residence on Friday and invited him to take active role in the Congress activities.
Prior to previous Assembly elections, Ganesh joined the Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi in September 2018. He was not happy with the party for not utilising his services during elections. Moreover, no party post was given to Bandla and denied MLA ticket to him. Felt humiliated, he disassociated with the party and became active in movies.
In May 2022, Bandla expressed his unhappiness through a tweet after Revanth made comment that Reddy leaders are superior in politics. Ganesh is known for straight forwardness and his remarks become controversial in the media. A loyal follower of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, Ganesh’s recent comments on director Puri Jagannadh created sensation.
