TPCC slams BJP over din in Parliament

Hyderabad, July 29 (Maxim News): TPCC today slammed the BJP alleging that the saffron party-led government at the Centre was obstructing functioning of Parliament in order to prevent meaningful discussion on several public problems by creating pandemonium.

TPCC senior vice-president Mallu Ravi alleged that the Union government was suspending the Opposition members from the House instead of replying to the questions raised by them. He termed the acts of the ruling BJP as unconstitutional and asked the BJP as to how the public problems would be known to the public unless discussions were held on them in Parliament. He alleged that the ruling party leaders were diverting the questions posed on important issues like increase in the prices of all essential commodities, petrol and diesel.

He alleged that the ruling party leaders were also harassing their party president Sonia Gandhi as she was fighting against the Central government over the public problems. He alleged that the ruling party leaders were making mountain out of a molehill over the comments made by their party leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Choudhary. He made it clear that Choudhary had already tendered his apology over the unintentional comments made by him while wondering as to why the BJP is still making it an issue even after the apology from their party leader.

Citing the question raised by TPCC president and party MP A. Revanth Reddy on the promise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide 2.16 crore jobs to the unemployed youth of the country every year, Ravi said the Central government gave a reply by stating that it was able to provide only seven lakh jobs so far. He said the people were observing the unconstitutional acts of the BJP. He made it clear that the Congress party had made a Dalit and minority leaders as the President of India in the past. He also said their party had made several tribals and Dalit leaders as Governors and Speaker of the Lok Sabha. He warned Union minister Smrithi Irani to not make any insulting remarks against their party president Sonia Gandhi. (Maxim News)
