Officials said the diversions will affect several busy stretches around Kukatpally, Moosapet, and the surrounding areas. They explained that traffic coming from Bharat Nagar and Erragadda towards the GHMC office and Moosapet will move through the Kukatpally Y Junction instead. Meanwhile, traffic heading from the Kukatpally Y Junction towards IDL Lake will shift to the JNTU route. These changes aim to ease pressure around the event location.

The police added that vehicles coming from Madhapur and Hitech City towards Khaithlapur will also see a change in movement. They will be diverted towards Nexus Mall and then routed through JNTU Road. They said these steps will keep the main stretches clear as crowds gather for the Akhanda 2 pre-release programme. They also urged citizens to stay alert while travelling through the zone.

Officials advised all commuters to follow the diversions and avoid the restricted stretches whenever possible. They said travellers should use alternate routes to prevent delays. They also encouraged people to stay updated on live traffic conditions. Therefore, they asked commuters to check alerts posted on the Hyderabad Traffic Police’s social media pages on Facebook and Twitter. They said the updates will help drivers navigate the area with ease.

Police officials noted that the traffic system may see slow movement during peak hours due to the expected turnout. They requested cooperation from motorists to ensure smooth flow on all affected roads. They also said that the diversions will end once the event concludes and normal traffic resumes.
