Traffic Restrictions in view of inauguration of New Super Luxury Buses

Hyderabad, December 23: The following traffic restrictions are likely to be imposed on 24-12-2022 from 12 PM to 5 PM, in connection with the inauguration of New Super Luxury Buses of TSRTC at Upper Tankbund, Hyderabad.

Traffic diversions and restrictions will be made if required as per the local situation:

  1. Traffic coming from Ranigunj towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and will be diverted at Sailing Club towards Kavadiguda X Roads and DBR Mills.
  2. Traffic coming from Liberty towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and diverted at Ambedkar statue towards Telugu Thalli, Iqbal Minar.
  3. Traffic coming from Telugu Thalli towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and diverted at the Ambedkar statue towards Liberty, Himayath Nagar.
  4. Traffic coming from Musheerabad X Roads towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and will be diverted at Kavadiguda X Roads towards Lower Tankbund.
  5. Traffic coming from DBR Mills towards Upper Tankbund will not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Gosala – Kavadiguda – Jabbar Complex – Bible House.
  6. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards the upper Tankbund will be diverted at Old Secretariat towards Telugu Thalli Flyover towards Lower Tankbund.

TRAFFIC CONGESTION AREAS TO BE AVOIDED:

The Citizens are requested to avoid the following junctions where traffic congestion is expected: (1) Upper Tankbund (2) Ambedkar Statue (3) Telugu Thalli Junction and (4) Liberty, (5) V.V Statue.

The Buses plying from Secunderabad towards Hyderabad on Upper Tankbund are requested to avoid Upper Tankbund and use Lower Tankbund from 12 PM to 5 PM on 24-12-2022.

All citizens are requested to take note of the above diversions and traffic congestion points and take alternate routes to reach their destination. The Traffic diversions/ closures of roads will be removed/opened after the conclusion of the program.
