Tragedy At Shamshabad Airport: Sudden Demise of Head Constable Mahesh Salunkhe
Hyderabad, Mar 5, (Maxim News): In a tragic incident, Head Constable Mahesh Ramrao Salunkhe, a 49-year-old police officer from Kalachowki Police Station, Mumbai, passed away suddenly at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGI), Shamshabad, this morning.
According to a complaint filed by his colleague, Ganesh Ashok Shete, a Sub-Inspector from the same police station, the incident occurred at approximately 9:15 AM while Salunkhe was waiting near Gate No. 4 of the airport. Salunkhe, along with his colleagues, had traveled from Mumbai to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, for an investigation.
Suddenly, Salunkhe experienced a seizure and collapsed. Immediate medical assistance was sought, and he was rushed to Apollo Hospital, RGI Airport, Shamshabad, where the attending doctors declared him dead. The cause of death has been confirmed as cardiac arrest.
In response to the unfortunate demise, Ganesh Shete has requested the RGI Airport Police to take necessary legal action and initiate an investigation. Shete also requested a copy of the Unnatural Death Report (UDR) or FIR for further legal procedures.
Authorities have registered a suspicious death case and an investigation has begun into the circumstances surrounding Salunkhe’s sudden death.
Salunkhe’s colleagues and friends remember him as a dedicated and respected officer in Mumbai’s Kalachowki Police Station. His sudden death has shocked his family, colleagues, and the police community.(Maxim News)
