Train Accident In Pakistan: 15 Dead, 40 Injured 

Islamabad/Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News):  A train accident took place in Pakistan today.  The accident took place when the Hazara Express train derailed near Sarhari Railway Station.  As a result, around 15 people lost their lives and around 40 people were injured.  Pakistani media said that many bodies of this train going from Karachi to Rawalpindi derailed. 

Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the accident site.  The police also rushed to the spot.  In some videos on social media, it is seen that passengers are getting in and out of the overturned train bodies. 

Pakistan Railways Sukkur divisional Commercial Officer Mohsin Sial said that Hazara Express train derailed near Sarhari Railway station and information about how many bodies were derailed.  some say it is five bodies while others say that eight bodies have derailed.  He did not disclose the loss of life.  He said he was going to the accident site.  he said that the accident took place at the outer signal of Sarhari railway station.

Shaheed Benzirabad Deputy Inspector General of Police Mohammad Younis Chandeo said that t was a very big accident.  he refused to give information about the loss of life.  he said that the support teams have to start their activities.  he said that the police and the commissioner have gone to the accident site. . 

Railways and Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique told the media in Lahore that the authorities have been informed about the accident.  In a statement, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the accident and ordered the deputy commissioner of the town to provide immediate medical aid to the injured.  (Maxim News)
