Training helps to improve skills of the individual: Ronald Rose

Hyderabad, October 14: District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said that the training will help in improving the skills of the individual. On Saturday, the election officer participated in a one-day training program for the Hyderabad district election staff and officials at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute.

On this occasion, Election Officer Ronald Rose said… The commissioner explained the rules to be followed during the nomination process for ROs in these training classes.

Certificates required at the time of nominations and points to be followed during last days of nomination are explained. Every nomination should be videographed. The commissioner informed that the nomination papers should be examined. Procedures for rejection of nominations explained. The ROs should deal with the nominations as per the election rules. He said that the PO should give the opportunity to vote as per the voting rules, but if the PO gives the permission as per the instructions of the agent or the election staff, he will be responsible. A person performing duties in the context of elections should know the standard of procedure (SOP). Sop is explained in training classes. He said that it will be useful to create awareness and increase the skill to manage effectively.

ECI issues guidelines from time to time on the occasion of nominations and should also take them into consideration and move forward. After completion of nomination with drawal, symbol should be allotted after declaration of competing candidates.

Allotment of reserved and unreserved symbols explained. The Election Expenditure Inspectors appointed for the Assembly elections should also be vigilant.
