Tremors Felt In Chevella Trigger Panic Among Residents

Hyderabad, Mar 20 (Maxim News) : Mild tremors were reported in Chevella of Ranga Reddy district on Friday morning. The sudden vibrations created panic among residents in the town and nearby areas.

According to locals, a loud sound was heard around 9:30 am. Soon after, people felt slight ground movement for a few seconds. Many residents rushed out of their homes in fear.

Some households reported objects shaking inside their houses. Utensils also made noise due to the vibrations. These developments increased concern among residents.

Authorities received information soon after the incident. Officials started preliminary inquiries. They are collecting details from local residents.

Officials probe cause of Chevella tremors

Authorities are examining two possible causes. One possibility is a minor natural earthquake. Another possibility is vibrations caused by quarry blasting in nearby areas.
