Trouble For KCR: Summoned In Power Purchase Case
Hyderabad, June 11 (Maxim News): Justice L. Narasimha Reddy said that notices have been given to the former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) in the matter of electricity purchases in Telangana.

Justice Narasimha Reddy Judicial Commission, which was formed to investigate the construction of Yadadri Power Station and the policy followed by the previous BRS government for the purchase of Chhattisgarh electricity, is continuing, Justice Narasimha Reddy stated that 25 people including KCR, Suresh Chanda, and Ajay Mishra have been given notices in this regard. He said that KCR has asked for time till July 30 to explain. It has been revealed that KCR has been told to explain before June 15.
It may be recalled that the Telangana government headed by Revanth Reddy has appointed a judicial commission headed by Justice Narasimha Reddy stating that there were irregularities in power purchases during the previous BRS government. It is known that the commission has taken up the inquiry in this order. For the last two days, some officials who worked during the BRS regime were called for investigation and questioned on various key points. It is noteworthy that Justice Narsimha Reddy, who questioned former CMD Prabhakar Rao yesterday, has sent notices to former CM KCR today. (Maxim News)
