TRS activists | Tension escalated in Vemula village, Itikyala Mandal after TRS activities tried to foil the Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party chief Bandi Sanjay’s padayatra.
According to the reports, TRS activists tried to prevent Bandi Sanjay’s padayatra in Vemula, Gadwal district and damaged the car’s glass windows. After getting the information, the police rushed to the spot and took the situation into control.

Police shifted the TRS activists to another place. Irked after the incident, BJP activists raised anti-TRS government slogans.
Speaking to the media, Bandi Sanjay dismissed the attack and stated that CM KCR can also do padayatra in the scorching heat to know the problems of the people and no one will raise objections to it.
Responding to the allegation of Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay, TRS working president and Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao said that the TRS workers have no need to obstruct his padayatra.

KTR flayed Sanjay’s assurance of implementing free education and health if BJP comes to power in the state of Telangana. He mentioned that the KCR government will extend support to the Modi government at Centre if it passes a bill in the Parliament making education and health free for all citizens of the country.
The minister criticised the Centre for not allocating funds to the Hindu temples in Telangana. Giving an offer to Bandi Sanjay, KTR said, “I will arrange four to five air-conditioned vehicles to Telangana BJP leaders for visiting the districts of Karnataka which are bordering with Telangana state.” He enlisted several welfare schemes of the TRS government that are not implemented by BJP government in Karnataka.
The TRS working president further said that Shivaraj Patil, BJP MLA from Raichur in Karnataka, has demanded that Raichur district should be merged in Telangana state.
