TRS behind drug smuggling in State: Sanjay

TRS behind drug | State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that the ruling party leaders and the close friends of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao were behind the trafficking of banned drugs in Telangana. He said the people were feeling ashamed after news reports stated that the State capital had become a hub for the drugs trafficking.

Speaking to media persons on Friday, the BJP leader said the inquiries carried by regulatory agencies had revealed that the drugs business was going on in the State since the year 2017. He said the investigation also found that several important people were involved in the drugs trade. He demanded that the State government make public the details of the investigation conducted by it. He also asked the State government as to why it was not handing over the digital records of their investigation to the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
