TRS, Congress parties will join hands at any time: Amit Shah

Hyderabad, Sept.17 (NSS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah predicted that their political rivals TRS and Congress parties would join hands at any time. He asked the party leaders and workers to work hard for the victory of the party in Telangana. He made these remarks while addressing a meeting of the BJP core committee held at hotel Haritha Plaza in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Shah said that there could be an alliance of the TRS party with the Congress party after the 2024 general elections. Stating that there is a need to tell about this possible alliance to the people of the state in a more clear and coherent manner, he asked the party leaders to prepare an action plan on the issue. He said that the Congress party was wiped out from the political scene of the state. He told the party leaders that he would be available for them whenever they wanted and asked them to focus on the upcoming by-elections in Munugodu assembly constituency.

Shah inquired about the constituency-wise status of the party and received feedback about the recent programs held by the BJP in the state. He also inquired about the 19 assembly constituencies, which were not won by the BJP so far. Making it clear that the unity of the party leaders is very important in Telangana, he asked the party leaders to prepare plans to strengthen the party from the booth level. (NSS)
