TRS harassing those joining Congress party: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, July 5 (Maxim News): TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy today alleged that TRS party was harassing those leaders, who were either joining or planning to join the Congress party after deserting the ruling party.

Speaking to media persons along with CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Revanth Reddy said he held a meeting with AICC general secretary K C Venugopal and added that they discussed about the internal affairs of the party. Stating that he was completing one year as the TPCC chief on July 7, 2022, he said he had explained about the programs held by the State unit of the party under his leadership. He said several other party leaders would join the Congress in the days to come and added that they would welcome the other party leaders based on the political conditions in different districts.

Commenting on the luncheon meeting of the party’s former MLA P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, he said he was also invited to the lunch party and added that Vishnu would soon hold a public meeting in the State capital while noting that he has given all kinds of permissions to Vishnu to hold the public meeting.

Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the TPCC chief alleged that the Chief Minister was playing “dramas” as per the script of political strategist Prashant Kishore and his secret friend BJP. He claimed that PK was trying to implement the same plan, which was implemented in West Bengal State and added that PK was trying to ensure that there was no threat of the Congress party to the TRS party in the State as part of the plan.

He made it clear that they have their political strategies to counter the strategies of PK. Reddy said they would also hold a public meeting at Parade grounds, where the BJP also held a public meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently.

Commenting on the party MLA Jagga Reddy’s row, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said they held a discussion about the comments of Jagga Reddy in the party and added that it was a thing of past now. Stating the party leaders will have different views, he said differences of opinions should not be seen as differences among the leaders of the party. He said the party would have massive number of joining programs of rival party leaders in all the districts of the State.

He said they held a discussion on the list of leaders, who are willing to join the party with the party high command. Alleging that both CM KCR and PM Narendra Modi were playing dramas in the State, he said they would expose the two leaders before the people of Telangana. (Maxim News)
