TRS Invincible In Any Election In State: Minister

Hyderabad, Jan.11 (Maxim News): Excise & Prohibition Minister V Srinivas Goud today said the TRS will win any polls in the Telangana state. He flayed the Congress and the BJP parties for trying to blame the State government on the municipal elections.

The minister held a meeting with party leaders in Mahabubnagar district in connection with the municipal polls scheduled to be held on January 22. He said the TRS has been offering free power supply for farming, paying Rs 10,000 per year under Rythu Bandhu scheme and Rs 5 lakh crop insurance. He also said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao knows the problems of the farmers and initiated welfare schemes for them.

In any elections in the State, the ruling party has been sweeping them and will do so in the municipal polls too, he felt. “The people are happy with the welfare and development programs of the TRS regime. The Opposition parties have no right to seek votes from the people in municipal polls”, he said, adding that elections surveys predicted TRS victory and all the leaders should campaign on welfare schemes in the State.
