TRS MP Kavitha clarifies KCR’s stand over his comments on PM Modi

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s recent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi appear to have caused the rift between Telangana and the Centre widen further.

Despite Industries Minister KT Rama Rao although offered a possible explanation, that it might have been a slip-of-the-tongue, Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has objected to the remarks on the Prime Minister and seeks an apology from the Chief Minister.

Now, TRS MP too has come to the fore in support of KCR stating that the CM has no intention to degrade PM Modi and doesn’t sport a narrow nature to make such comments.

Clarifying further, Kavitha said that KCR had not willingly made the remarks against the PM, instead, it happened through his flow of words since he is grief-stricken over the current situation of the farmers in the state which might be the reason the words came out harsh.

She extended support to Andhra Pradesh on Special Category Status and added that the Centre should fulfil all the promises made in the AP Reorganization Act 2014.
