He called on the Iranian protesters to continue the protests and take over government institutions. He said that he will help the struggle. Record the names of the murderers and attackers. They will pay a heavy price. He has canceled all meetings with Iranian officials until the killings of protesters stop. He posted on his Truth social media that he will provide assistance to the protesters.
People are dying in the protests in Iran, but the government there is estimating that only 700 or 800 people have died so far. Officials say it could be as high as two thousand. But a local website says that all of these are false estimates. A website called Iran International has posted a sensational story in this regard. This website says that more than 12,000 people have lost their lives in the protests. It is understood that security personnel have also lost their lives in the protests taking place across the country along with the people. It said that this estimate was based on information collected from security agencies, the presidential office, eyewitnesses, medical officials, etc. It said that these deaths occurred on January 8 and 9, and that these violent incidents were planned. The website says that such protests have never happened in Iran before.
The US-based Human Rights Watch reported that protests continued in more than 600 locations across 31 provinces across the country. Hundreds of people have been killed and more than 10,000 have been arrested. It said that if the protests in Iran continue like this, they could lead to major destruction.
