TS Auto Drivers To Join All-India Bandh On Jan 8
Hyderabad, Jan.6 (Maxim News): Telangana Auto Drivers Union JAC appealed to Auto men in the State, particularly in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad to participate in the nationwide Bundh on January 8 against “anti-worker” policies of the Central Government. The JAC leaders said the Auto Drivers would continue to fight against 2017 M.V. Act amendment bill tooth and nail.
Addressing mediapersons here today, TADJAC convener Mohd Amanullah Khan demanded that the State government formulate necessary guidelines against the private financiers who were harassing the poor auto drivers. He also asked the City Police Commissioner as to how the drivers can run their autos as per the existing meter fares which were fixed five years back. He also demanded that the CP take immediate action and ensure that all RCs kept with financiers forcibly are handed over back to the respective owners, Auto Finance Agreement Holders so that the drivers and owners can register their names with the City Police Authorities.
