TS Budget Session To Start on March 10—Budget on March 13

Hyderabad: Telangana State Assembly Budget session is slated to start from March 10. The State’s annual Budget for 2017-18 will be presented on March 13.

According to Finance Minister Etela Rajender, the Budget would be so formulated that the fruits of welfare programme reached the people. Increased funds would be provided for Dalit, Girijan sections, in accordance with the Sub-Plan rules. He recalled that after formation of the State, Rs.one lakh budget was presented in the first year, and Rs.1.30 lakh crore budget in the second year.

He said that State was going ahead with rapid speed in development activities.
