TS Govt To Construct 3 Lakh 2BHKs In Next 5 Years

Information Technology Minister K Taraka Rama Rao informed that construction of 3 lakh double bedroom houses in the next five years was the aim of Telangana government. The Minister was speaking after laying the foundation stone for construction of 4,160 double bedroom houses being taken up with Rs 230 crore at Nukapalli of Malyala mandal.

“Besides 2.72 lakh houses announced earlier, another three lakh houses would be constructed by spending Rs 18,000 crore. The housing scheme being implemented in Telangana was larger than all the houses being constructed in the rest of the country,” he said.
