TS Online Donates Rs.10.68 Lakhs For CCTV Cameras In R’Konda
Hyderabad, Oct.26 (Maxim News): Rachakonda Police has taken up an initiative and started a Special Drive- Nighanetram and partnered with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) to make this project successful by getting maximum donations from all the establishments under the CSR program. In response to the above, today TS Online (a division of APT Online Limited) donated Rs.10.68 lakhs to Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat. TS Online supports Rachakonda Police, Telangana Police Department in Rachakonda IT Corridor by taking up the installation of the CCTV Cameras under CST-Community Surveillance Activity.
V. Rajanna, Director, TS Online, handed over the Cheque of Rs. 10.68 lakhs to Mahesh Bhagwat, in the presence of Satish Elaprolu, COO, TS Online and Krishna Yedula, General Secretary of SCSC.
The CCTV cameras will help in solving cases in the shortest time, said Mahesh Bhagwat. CP also said in just 15 months they have installed more than 75 thousand cameras and they need a lakh more to bring the entire Rachakonda under Nighanetram. CP Rachakonda said, “We thank the TS Online team for supporting us in our endeavours in creating a safe and secure Rachakonda and look forward for more participation from them”.
“Security is a top priority for IT companies and TS Online wants to ensure that this is applied not just in our operations, but also in our communities” said V. Rajanna. Krishna Yedula thanked TS Online and said it is a good note that Corporates coming forward and taking part in community safety and security and helping the police to establish a Safe and Secure Rachakonda.
The focus of the project is to promote safety of women through surveillance infrastructure and drive awareness on personal safety and security. It also supports the State Government’s objective of setting up an Integrated Command Control Centre connected to a city-wide CCTV surveillance system. The centre was set up to handle emergencies, crisis and disaster management efforts, and support the objective of making Rachakonda a safe city and world class IT destination.(Maxim News)
