Additional Director General of Police Anjani Kumar on Wednesday received National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) trophy on behalf of TS Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahender Reddy for empowering police with information technology through TSCOP mobile application for the year 2017.
He received the award at the All India Police Duty Meet held in Chennai. The NCRB under the Ministry of Home Affairs has been conducting NCRB’s running trophy to encourage development of in-house police IT applications since 2015.
Apart from winning the trophy for the best IT project, the Telangana police also received two silver and six bronze medals, and a winner trophy.
