TS sees 2 Omicron cases, masks mandatory: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, Dec.15 (Maxim News): Health Minister T Harish Rao today said that two Omicron cases were found in the state and people should wear masks and follow corona protocols. The Government is prepared to tackle Omicron and covid-19 issues in the state. The government took all measures and equipped the hospitals with better medical facilities and expert doctors and medical staff in the state, he said.

Addressing a program at Siddipet district the minister said that two Omicron cases were reported in Telangana state. With these cases reaching our state the people should be more cautious, the Minister warned. The people should wear masks to overcome the virus problem by taking vaccines of two doses. There is no alternative to wearing masks and sanitizing hands and maintaining social distance, the minister asserted. He reiterated that the people should avoid negligence and fear or doubts on the same. Instead they must follow corona protocols to wear masks compulsorily, the minister said.

The Minister said that the state Government is ready with all health facilities, experts and doctors and medical staff to tackle the situation in the wake of Omicron cases. The minister said that the cases of Omicron might rise in future as they are increasing in other states and countries. Only thing we have to do is be more careful and wear masks to prevent the virus spread.

He appealed to the people to educate people in their neighbourhod and areas to wear masks, take two doses of vaccines. There is no fear or doubt for pregnant women who can take the vaccines as directed by the doctors, Harish Rao said. The minister hoped that the people will remain alert on the Omicron spread and tackle it by wearing masks and following protocols. (Maxim News)
