TS to be number one in EODB: KTR

Hyderabad, Jan.8 (Maxim News): Municipal and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said that Telangana has to achieve a number one status in Ease of Doing Business (EODB). The Minister stressed the need for reforms and progressive steps for achieving number one status for the state in terms of Ease Of Doing Business (EODB).

At a program with officials concerned here he discussed EODB and directed that reforms are to be implemented for better services. Our policy, he said, aims to offer speedy and simplified services to businessmen, companies and people in chosen sectors. KT Rama Rao instructed the officials to implement EODB norms and ensure speedy delivery of services by GHMC, HMDA and other government offices. The government aims to achieve number one status in industry and business by offering necessary support to the investors, businessmen, traders. The officials should give them hassle free permissions to invest and expand companies, he said. The minister asked for coordinated efforts by the departments to achieve number one status in EODB. Provide speedy digital and electronic services and avoid people coming to offices for their works, he said.

The minister expressed hope that the state will usher in a new era of rapid development in business and industrial sectors. (Maxim News)
