TSIC Launches ‘Virtual Hearing’ To Hear Cases

Hyderabad, May 8 (Maxim News): In view of lockdown (COVID-19), the Telangana State Information Commission started hearing of cases through Video conference with help of latest technology.

According to a press note issued here , the secretary of the commission has said that notices on parties for hearing of the cases were communicated in advance to the appellants, complainants and responding through SMS and E-mails . The Commission has received total number of 247 appeals, complaints during the lock down period, he informed .

In compliance with the Government guidelines to work on rotation with bare minimum staff and to maintain physical distancing the officers and staff of the Commission were also sensitized and necessary sanitization of the Commission premises was being carried out periodically. (Maxim News)
