TSPSC Paper Leak: Group 1 Prelims Exam Canceled

Hyderabad, March 17 (Maxim News): Group-1 prelim exams have been canceled due to the TSPSC paper leak. TSPSC Chairman Janarthan Reddy said that Junior Lecturer exams are also being postponed along with Group Prelims. However, TSPSC, which has already canceled the Town Planning and MVI exams, has also canceled the Group-1 Prelims exams.

The TSPSC has taken this decision due to the paper leak of the Group-1 exam held on October 16 last year. It has been announced that the examinations will be canceled due to the evidence found in the SIT investigation. However, TSPSC has revealed that the Group-1 Prelims exams will be held again on June 11.

The Group-1 Preliminary examination was held on October 16, 2022, and TSPSC released the results on January 13, 2023. The candidates applied are 3,80,081 for 503 Group-1 posts, of which 2,85,916 candidates have appeared for the exam. Of those who wrote the exam, 25.50 candidates were selected for mains. TSPSC has decided to conduct the mains exam in June. After the leakage came to light, it was decided to conduct the re-exam again in June. (Maxim News)
