Amaravathi, Feb.23 (Maxim News): TTD chairman SV Subba Reddy said they were considering setting up of light metro rail or mono rail in Tirumala. He said they sought a report from Hyderabad Metro Rail MD NVS Reddy and he would hold discussions with Agama Sastra pandits once the report was reached.

Speaking to mediapersons, Subba Reddy said they were not thinking about rope-based rails and added that they would only consider the proposals for the metro, mono and tram rail based transport system. He said the rail proposal would help them protect environment on the hillocks. He also said he had stumbled upon the idea after observing the linkage of a hill with a mono rail in Austria.
