Turmeric Board In Nizamabad Back On The Screen

Nizamabad/Hyderabad, Sept 7 (Maxim News): The issue of the establishment of a turmeric board in the Nizamabad area has come to force once again.

There has been a demand for setting up a separate board for the turmeric crop, which has fallen under the Spices Board for many years. BJP has promised in the context of the last elections. But, after that, when MPs from the state raised this issue in the Lok Sabha, the Central government replied that there was no such proposal. BJP leaders said that services have been made available to turmeric farmers with the establishment of the Spiceboard Extension Center in the Nizamabad area. But, recently, the campaign has come to the fore that the center has agreed to set up the turmeric board. An announcement will be made on September 17 and there is a possibility of introducing a bill in this regard in a special session of Parliament.

In this background of the announcement, there is a possibility that Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Amit shall will visit Nizamabad.  (Maxim News)
