The accused, A. Harish and M. Mahesh, were operating under the guise of Sri Vyas Consultancy in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The police seized dozens of forged certificates, mobile phones, and other incriminating documents during the raid.

46 Fake Certificates Issued, 24 Travelled Abroad

According to police officials, the consultancy duo had issued fake degree and diploma certificates to at least 46 individuals. Alarmingly, 24 of them have already used these counterfeit credentials to travel abroad, primarily for employment or higher education purposes.

Investigations revealed that the fake documents were being sourced from a man named Mohan, based in Vijayawada. Police are currently tracing his whereabouts to uncover the full extent of the operation.

Foreign Aspirants at Risk

Authorities warned that using forged academic documents not only undermines the credibility of the Indian education system but also jeopardizes the future of unsuspecting aspirants who may face serious consequences, including visa rejections, deportation, or legal action abroad.
