Two interstate drug peddlers nabbed, four litre of hashish oil seized

Hyderabad, July 14 (Maxim News): Acting on specific information, SOT sleuths of LB Nagar Zone along with Hayath Nagar police today apprehended two interstate drug peddlers identified as Kona Shiva, and Pappu Nuka Raju, both of Vizag at Bhagyalatha Kaman, Hayath Nagar and seized four litres of Hashish oil and two Mobile phones worth Rs 15,00,000 from their possession.

The accused packed the part of contraband as a gift box and in a grease plastic tin to hoodwink the police or any other person to notice as contraband. The police registered a case No. 751/2022, under Section 8 (C) read with 20(B)(II)(C) of NDPS Amendment Act 2001 of Hayathnagar PS, Rachakonda Commissionerate.

The accused were identified as Kona Shiva, 24, student of Jampena village, Madgula Mandal, Vizag, A.P. State, Pappu Nuka Raju, 25, cook, of Chinna Paachila village, Ravi Kamatham Mandal, Vizag, Santhosh Kumar of Vishakapatnam and Sanjeev Rao of Lankalapalem Vizag absconding. The police seized four litres of Hashish oil, three Mobile phones all worth about Rs 15 lakh.

Accused Kona Shiva and A-2 Nuka Raju came into contacts with A-3 Santhosh Kumar, who is a drug peddler in Vizag. Ten days ago, A-3 offered Kona Shiva to transport the contraband (Hashish oil) to his customers at Hyderabad for which he would pay Rs 40,000 upon which he accepted and A-1 informed A-2 and promised him to give his share amount for assisting in transporting.

As per the directions of A-3, on July 13 evening A-1 and A-2 came to Lankela Palem, Vizag and met him and A-3 handed over one gift pack parcel box (containing one litre Hashish oil) and A-4 Sanjeev Rao, who is another drug peddler and friend of A-3 handed over one plastic grease tin (containing three litre Hashish oil). A-3 instructed them to go to Hyderabad and after getting down at Hayath Nagar and make a call to him. Accordingly, A-1 and A-2 collected the contraband and reached Hayathnagar on July early morning hours and waiting at Bhagyalatha Kaman for the instructions from A-3.

Meanwhile, on specific information, the police team caught them and seized four litres of Hashish oil and two mobile phones from their possession. The accused used to sell it in retail at Rs 4,00,000 per litre or Rs 4000 per 10 ml.

Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Sunpreet Singh, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, LB Nagar Zone, K. Muralidhar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Operations Team, Rachakonda, D Venkanna Naik ACP., SOT Rachakonda, K. Purushotham, ACP., Vanastalipuram Division, by A. Sudhakar, Inspector of Police, SOT-LB Nagar Zone, H. Venakateshwarlu Inspector of Police, Hayath Nagar PS, K. Prathap Reddy, Sub-Inspector of Police, SOT and Special Operations Team, LB Nagar Zone Rachakonda and Hayatath Nagar Police. (MaxiM News)
