Two Youths Died After Being Hit By Train While Collecting Fodder for Bakrid
Hyderabad, June 2, 2025 (Maxim News) In a heart-wrenching incident that shook the Yakutpura area this morning, two young residents tragically lost their lives in a railway accident near Yakutpura Railway Station. The victims, identified as Shahab Uddin (26) and Faizan (21), were reportedly cutting grass for their goats near the tracks when they were struck by a passing train around 9:00 to 9:30 AM.
Both young men hailed from Sonte Peer Ki Dargah, a locality known for its close-knit community. Eyewitnesses say the accident happened in a matter of seconds, leaving no time for the victims to react as the train approached swiftly and unexpectedly. Tragically, both lost their lives on the spot.
Two Youths Died
The tragic news prompted swift action from AIMIM leadership. Yakutpura MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj directed local corporators Alamdar Walajahi and Wasayuddin to reach the accident site immediately.
MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj and other local leaders coordinated with the railway police authorities and oversaw the shifting of the deceased to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem procedures. MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj also personally visited the hospital to meet the bereaved families and express condolences on behalf of the party.
He assured the grieving families of AIMIM’s full support during this deeply painful time and promised to assist with all necessary procedures and aid. (Maxim News)
