UGC-HRDC, OU Starts 6 Days Short-Term Course On Leadership Development

Hyderabad, June 27 (Maxim News): UGC-HRDC, Osmania University has commenced today, a six-day short-term course on “leadership development for Academic Administrators and this will continue till July 4.

The short-term course was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof D. Ravinder today, he stressed the importance of understanding the leadership qualities and developing the same amongst the academic administrators. This program has been planned very meticulously involving the most eminent experts in the field of leadership and leadership management in academic institutions.

While welcoming the participant Prof Smita, C. Pawar, director of UGC-HRDC said this is the first of its kind program, that’s being conducted in the new building of HRDC and hoped that the new facility will be able to reflect the commitment of the Osmania university and HRDC. Osmania University to develop the faculty and other stakeholders of the higher education institutions, both within Telangana and India.

The program is being attended by 35 participants who are teacher administrators to Home their leadership skills. The thirty-five participants include fourteen women and twenty-one male participants, who are the academic administrators of Osmania University. (Maxim News)
