UK Surgeons To Conduct Free Heart Surgeries At NIMS
Hyderabad, Aug 31 (Maxim News) A group of heart surgeons from the United Kingdom in collaboration with their counterparts at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) are conducting free heart surgeries for children for economically weaker sections.
At the special heart surgery camp from September 1 and 21, the doctors will screen children with congenital heart diseases so that heart procedures could be taken up, where necessary.
The free heart procedures will be free of cost under Aarogyasri Health Insurance scheme. Parents interested in the screening camp can contact Dr Amaresh Rao, Dr Praveen and Dr Gopal at the CTVS office on the first floor of the old NIMS building between 8 am and 4 pm along with previous medical reports and scan reports for reference, a press release said.
