Officials are preparing to demolish the DNR function hall in Jawahar Nagar, Uppal. The function hall was constructed on government land survey numbers 32, and 14. Officials have identified it as a function hall belonging to Mallareddy’s nephew Narasimha Reddy. Municipal, GHMC, and HYDRA officials are nearby and demolishing the structure.
Heavy Police Deployment Has Been Made At The Scene
In the past, the Municipal authorities along with HYDRA have demolished illegal structures related to Mallareddy. The authorities demolished those structures based on complaints from locals that Mallareddy, who had encroached on government land nearby, had built a road to access the college.
Mallareddy responded to this at the time and accused the government of deliberately conspiring against him and targeting his properties. He explained that this was an act of political vendetta.
Meanwhile, in the past, there was a lot of talk that Mallareddy would resign from the BRS party and join Congress to protect his assets. At the same time, Mallareddy’s meeting with Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar further strengthened the talks about changing the party. On the other hand, the authorities demolished the building of the college belonging to Mallareddy’s son-in-law and Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy. The authorities demolished the building because it was constructed by occupying a plot of land in the Engineering College in Dundigal. (Maxim News)
