Hyderabad, Oct.15 (Maxim News): University of Hyderabad (UoH) and AAIC Technologies Pvt. Ltd. popularly known as Applied AI Course signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Wednesday for jointly offering online P.G. Diploma Course in ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning’ (PGDAI&ML) through the Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning (CDVL).
Prof. Appa Rao Podile, Vice-Chancellor, UoH expressing happiness at the collaboration said, “The course includes academic rigour of the courses offered by UoH in addition to the skill set provided by the industry”.
The basic objective of the course is to offer skill-based tailor-made courses which can enhance the industry-ready abilities amongst graduates as well as the working professionals, in the form of PG Diploma, Certificate programs.
The design of the course is of skill augmenting nature rather than competitive to the regular Master’s programmers offered by UoH. The program has been carefully designed in line with the Skill India or the National Skills Development Mission of India ‘Kaushal Bharat Kushal Bharat” of the Government of India.
The duration of the course is of one year, spread over two semesters, eligibility is any graduate with Mathematics at XIIth standard or equivalent. The teaching model of the course is online, in the form of video lectures/webinars/doubt clearing interactive sessions with the resource person/instructor on campus and/or online.
The first announcement of the course admission will be done in November 2020 and information will be available on the university website uohyd.ac.in. Prof. C Raghavendra Rao and Prof. Rajeev Wankar from the School of Computer and Information Sciences, UoH and Mr. Srinivas Reddy from AAIC Technologies will be coordinators for this course.0
