UP Court Granted Conditional Bail To Rahul Gandhi In Defamation Case

Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Maxim News): Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi got a huge relief in the UP Court. In 2018, the Sultanpur court granted conditional bail to Rahul in the defamation case for his objectionable remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

In 2018, BJP leader Vijay Mishra filed a defamation case alleging that Rahul Gandhi had made objectionable comments against Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a press conference in Bangalore.  He criticized Rahul’s comments that BJP was involved in a murder case during Amit Shah’s tenure.  The Sultanpur court conducted an inquiry on this case on Tuesday, Today Rahul also attended the hearing of the case.  To this extent, the Court heard the arguments of both sides and granted conditional bail to Rahul.  (Maxim News)
