Upgrade Karimnagar Railway Station: Bandi Urges Railway Minister
Hyderabad, Aug.6 (Maxim News): State BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar today urged the Union Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav , Indian Railway board chairman and CEO Sunith Sharma to upgrade Karimnagar railway station . He submitted a representation to them on the issue.
In his representation Sanjay said that the residents of Karimnagar were finding it difficult to cross the railway crossing in the town and urged the minister to immediately take up the construction of an ROB. He said that the proposals to this effect were sent to Indian railways board from the south central railway while urging them to sanction the ROB by considering it as a special request. He also urged the minister to remove the railway gate at Ramadugu and build an ROB.
He said that Karimnagar was developing as a commercial town and added that the Karimnagar railway terminal should be developed to meet the needs of the town. He urged the minister to operate trains to Shirdi and Chennai cities . He further urged the minister to compete the bypass line works at Peddapalle to run more trains from Kazipeta. He urged the minister to speed up the worked between Manoharabad and Kothapally. (Maxim News)
