Urfi Javed Taken Into Custody By The Mumbai Police
Urfi Javed arrested? A new video has claimed that she was taken into police custody on Friday morning in Mumbai. In a video shared by a paparazzo, Viral Bhayani, Urfi was seen out on a coffee run in the morning when a group of alleged police officers took her into custody.
In the video, a female police officer asked Urfi to accompany them to the police station. When Urfi questioned the reason she was taken into custody, the officer asked in return, “Itne chote chote kapde kaun pehenke kaun ghumta hai?”
For the unversed, Urfi was seen wearing a backless red top with a pair of denim pants for her coffee run. When the actress asked the official for the reason again, the officials asked her to join her to the police station. They held her by her arms and took her into custody.
Social media users are also confused at the authenticity of the video. “Looks like prank by her only,” a social media user wrote. “Yes bhai hme to prank lag rha,” added another.
However, it is worth noting that Urfi did land in trouble due to her fashion choices recently. Last month, a complaint was filed against Urfi for her fashion choices at the Bandra Police Station, ETimes reported. The actress had made her way to the police station soon after.
Urfi Javed is often trolled, targeted and abused because of her fashion choices. The Bigg Boss OTT fame has never shied away from talking about the same. Earlier, in an interview, Urfi lashed out at those filing complaints against her and mentioned that she feels unsafe. However, also defended her choice of outfits and admitted that she is ‘doing it for attention’. “This industry is all about getting popularity and getting attention, so what is wrong with it then?” she told E-Times. Urfi Javed further argued that she is not the only one who is wearing ‘these kind of clothes’ and said that there are several girls who share bikini pictures on social media.
