Vanasthalipuram police serve notice to Raja Singh
It was on September 4, 2018 that Raja Singh along with supporters started a rally from Hayathnagar towards LB Nagar on bikes and cars without prior permission from the police.
Hyderabad: The Vanasthalipuram police on Wednesday served notice to Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh and sought his presence for investigation in a case booked against him in 2018.
It was on September 4, 2018 that Swami Paripoornanada, BJP leader, NVSS Prabhakar, Raja Singh and Govind Rathe, the then president of Hyderabad Ganesh Utsav Committee along with their supporters started a rally from Hayathnagar towards LB Nagar on bikes and cars without prior permission from the police.
Due to the rally, police said inconvenience was caused to the public and led to a heavy traffic jam. The leaders allegedly refused to heed the request of the police personnel to stop the rally and clear traffic. Following this, a case was booked against them.
