Hyderabad, Sept.3 (Maxim News): The former Police Commissioner of Cyberabad Commissionerate VC Sajjanar today took charge as the Managing Director (MD) of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) at the headquarters (Bus Bhavan) of the corporation in the city.
Sajjanar, who has shot to fame following the sensational encounter of the accused of the rape of veterinary doctor Disha, was transferred as the MD of the corporation recently. He worked as the CP of Cyberabad for three years and earned a good name for his services.
Addressing his maiden press conference after taking over the reins of the corporation, Sajjanar made it clear would not be sold off under any circumstances and added that all the existing assets would be protected by him.
He also said that he would work hard to rejuvenate the RTC. He stated that he would focus on three key areas self- reliance, Customer satisfaction and staff welfare in order to bring the RTC on the path of profits.
While Responding to a question whether workers unions would be allowed in the Corporation, he cleverly stated that he would work with the Welfare Board of the RTC to resolve the issues of the workers. He reminded that the RTC was once known as one of the most efficient organization in the country.
He thanked CM KCR for giving him a great responsibility in a prestigious organisation like the corporation . (Maxim News)
