Venkaiah Deplores Depression Among Youth
Kakinada, Jan.5 (Maxim News): Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday said the existence of human species would be difficult if they didn’t care for the development of education and health sector in the country.
He made these remarks while addressing the 60th convocation ceremony of Rangaraya Medical College in the city. He took part in the ceremony as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, he said it was heartening to see that so many alumni of the college meet at the same place. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was implementing Swachh Bharat program not for himself but for the benefit of the people of the country. He expressed concern over the increased usage of English language in the country at the cost of Telugu. He also expressed his concern over the increased amount of depression level among the youth and added that 48 percent of the youth were suffering from depression.
