Venue Change For SRH vs RCB Match! From Bengaluru To Lucknow
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has delivered an unexpected shock to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The crucial Indian Premier League (IPL) match scheduled for May 23 between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), which was to take place at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, has now been shifted to Lucknow.
This decision was made by the BCCI following a warning from the Meteorological Department predicting heavy rainfall in Bengaluru. As a result, cricket fans in the city have expressed disappointment. Supporters shared their frustration, stating they are unable to watch their home team play live on their own ground.
Fans had already purchased tickets to attend the May 23 match in person, leading to further dissatisfaction after the change in venue. The announcement has left the Bengaluru fan base disheartened.
It is worth recalling that the first match of the IPL restart, scheduled for May 17, was canceled due to heavy rain. The organizers announced the cancellation even before the toss could take place. This led to the Kolkata Knight Riders, who were in the race for the playoffs, being eliminated from the tournament with disappointment.
