Verdict On Bail Petition Of Delhi Liquor Scam Accused Postponed Again To Feb 16 

Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 9 (Maxim News):  The verdict on the bail petition of the Delhi Liquor Scam accused has been postponed again.  The Rouse Avenue Court announced that the orders on the bail petition will be issued at 3 pm on February 16.  

The counsel of the Enforcement Directorate requested the court that the investigation related to money laundering in the Delhi liquor scam going on, so the accused should not be granted bail. 

Justice Nagpal pointed out that if the accused are granted bail, there is a possibility of tampering with the evidence.  Agreeing with the arguments of the ED, the Judge adjourned the verdict on the bail petition for a week. 

Abhishek Boinapally, Sarath Chandra Reddy, Sameer Mahendra, and Vijay Nair, who were arrested in the Delhi Excise Policy case, approached Rouse Avenue Court for bail.  In fact, on the 23rd of last month, the Court reserved its verdict on the bail petition.  It announced that orders will be given on February 9.  The court which recently heard the case postponed the verdict to February 16.  (Maxim News)
