VH Bemoans Loss Of Two Veterans In Three Days
Hyderabad, July 30 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader V. Hanumanth Rao on Tuesday said it was most unfortunate that his party lost two veterans in just three days. He said while S. Jaipal Reddy played a crucial role at the national level, former minister M. Mukesh Goud did so at the State level. The passing a way of the two veterans was a colossal loss to the party.
Addressing mediapersons here today, Hanumanth Rao said he encouraged Mukesh Goud a lot to develop in State politics and he rose to the level of a minister from his humble beginning as corporator. He also said Mukesh had good control over city politics.
Commenting on the resignation of party leader Rahul Gandhi, Hanumanth Rao said discussion over a successor to Rahul Gandhi has already begun and his sister Priyanka Gandhi would step into his shoes in the party post. He also asserted that Congress would resurrect under leadership of either Rahul or Priyanka Gandhi. (Maxim News)
