VH Sets Deadline For Reinstallation Ambedkar Statue At Punjagutta Crossroads

Hyderabad, Feb.26 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao set up a deadline for state government for re-installation of Dr BR Ambedkar statue at Punjagutta. He warned the state government that all Opposition political parties have extended their support to the re-installation of the statue of the architect of Indian Constitution at the all-party meeting held on February 22.

Speaking to mediapersons, VH warned the state government that they would intensify their agitation if the state government did not install the statue by the end of April this year. He also said that they would meet all the MPs of the country in Parliament on March 4 and seek their support for their demand.

He also said they would stage a dharna at Jantar Mantar on March 6 with the same demand and added that another dharna would be held at Indira Park in the city. He thanked Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi for writing a letter to the GHMC Commissioner urging him to install the statue at the same place on the occasion.(Maxim News)
