VH Threatens To Sacrifice His Life If Ambedkar Statue Not Restored To Its Original Place

Hyderabad, Jan. 26 (Maxim News): senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao said State government had attained notoriety by desecrating the statue of B R Ambedkar. Stating that none of the leaders had spoken on the shocking incident, Rao asked the State government as to what “sin” BR Ambedkar had committed to receive such an insulting treatment.

Alleging that the statue of Ambedkar was thrown into a garbage dump, he also said he was stopped from re-installation of the statue at the same place from where it was removed. He said the Ambedkar statue was still in a police station on the 71st Republic Day celebrations. He said he would observe fast-unto-death if the Ambedkar statue was not restored to its original place. He also said he would commit suicide if the statue was not re-installed before February 5.
