Vice President Venkaiah Naidu Wishes Doctors on National Doctor’s Day

July 1: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday extended greetings to the medical fraternity on National Doctor’s Day. He praised health professionals for their efforts and dedication amid the coronavirus pandemic. “I salute all the members of the medical fraternity for their selfless service and working round-the-clock to save lives of others by putting their own lives at risk,” he tweeted.

The nation has been observing Doctor’s Day on July 1st, as it does every year, to honour doctors and health workers. In July 1991, the inaugural National Doctor’s Day was observed.
