Hyderabad, March 3 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader and TPCC star campaigner Vijayasanti on Sunday came down heavily against the ruling TRS party for encouraging defection of MLAs from her party. She said the acts of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao were nothing but an insult to the democracy and democratic values.
Vijayasanti said the time has come for them and other political parties to fight on the just launched operation Akarsh of the Chief Minister. Stating that the Council chairman Swamy Goud had sacked all the TRS MLCs, who had joined their party before the Assembly elections, she wanted to know from the Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy as to why he was silent on the issue. She told the Speaker that the people of the State wanted him to act in a democratic manner on the issue without giving scope for any kind of controversies in the issue.
She also urged the TPCC to hold meetings in the constituencies of the two party MLAs Atram Sakku of Asifabad and Rega Kantha Rao of Pinapaka and expose them before the people. She urged the party workers and leaders to fight till the end until they got justice in their fight against the defected MLAs. (Maxim News)
