Vijayawada: AP CM Jagan To Open Renovated Bapu Museum
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would be inaugurating the renovated Bapu Museum in Vijayawada on Thursday. The museum was closed for the last ten years. It was renovated with the funds (Rs 8 crore) provided by the Central and the state governments.
According to Vani Mohan, Commissioner of the Department of Archaeology and Museums, Bapu Museum has seven galleries with 1,500 artefacts. “For the first time, an advanced digital interactive display technology was used in the museum,” she stated. It would be opened to the public after the inauguration.
